It is Clear to Me - The Life Around the Glass Table. Raised in a family with five children, has always been a budgetary problem for us. The furniture that we had lived to carry hard to hide dirt, and remain stable. We ate every night at a laminate kitchen table, you know, the kind of photoengraving wood, through a series of vinyl chairs around who just need an occasional wipe.
Maybe I was too sophisticated for my age and time, but I knew that this scene is not as if I belonged to emulate, if I had had my own house. I used to go over the dinette store in our neighborhood and look out the window. I saw tables and chairs inside that I have more good restaurants I have never visited. Dinette sets but that was always my eye was one thing in common - they all had a glass coffee table. However, I knew - never, never seen in my parent’s house!
Decades later, the time came, my first purchase dinette set. I went into a store dining area is reminiscent of my childhood neighborhood. I walked in the door, and the first series that I saw told me - he had a basic white wrought iron chairs and upholstered furniture (a lot more comfortable than they looked), and a table 48 inch laminated glass edge. I walked casually into the store looking for something that I loved so much, but at a lower price. It was not good. I just want to be happy with just the glass table and upholstered chairs. It is perfect in my dining area, and the morning sun shone into my parquet nine. When I set my glass table and chairs in force, my kitchen looked like a page of a magazine.
At the time, I lived in a house with adults - my husband and his parents who were snowbirds in the winter. We have our house with one bedroom, kitchen and living room kitchen just for her, and when she went shopping for furniture, she came home with an eating their own - four chairs with high backs, and yes, a table made of glass.
When the first baby came, I suspect my mother and mother-in-law said: "This table will never be clean again." However, the baby food cloths, glass cleaner and a bit a few days time, my favorite glass table appearance.
In recent years, we moved to another state and built a house. Although it is not the top priority, if I find a new home, I was happy, a house with another large dining area that fit my glass table and chairs to find perfect. Another child has added another set of small handprints, but the glass table was just as easy to clean.
We had yet another movement, and this time we were renovating an old house. When working with an existing structure, you have to take what you get, but we were able to rework the kitchen to make us just the right amount of space in the kitchen of our favorite glass table and chairs.
Finally, my luck had turned. Years later I bought the game dining area of my dreams, I moved into a house that called for a table in different sizes. I wanted to close the house, because the glass table - where we have so many meals, birthday cakes, Brownie meetings, and tasks - would not be necessary. I nodded.
However, when I visited the rest of the house, I noticed a beautiful place for my trusted friend, the glass table on the covered terrace.
